Win bragging rights and secret prized by completing these five feats; all designed to challenge your passion for throwing an unforgettable dinner party and your superior food knowledge. Everyone is encouraged to participate and prove their right to call themselves a “gourmet”.

Wildcard Challenges |

Mixed into each dinner theme, will be a wildcard challenge. These wildcards add an extra twist to each course or the dinner as a whole. Watch out, you might not be able to use a common ingredient, or you may be required to utilize a specific color or type of cuisine. Be sure to look for your Wildcard challenge posted with the dinner themes. Don’t be surprised if a wildcard makes you a winner! |

Table Scape Challenge |

| |
Each host can submit 2 photos of their table scape for their assigned dinner. Photos will be judged on - representation of theme, overall design and inclusion of essential elements (forks, salt, water etc). A non-member judge will score each Table scape which will account for 50% of the overall score. All members will also be able to vote for their favorite (online) and members combined scores will account for 50% of the overall score. |

Best Dish Presentation |

Each member can submit one photo of each dish they prepare throughout the year (taken at the dinner, not before!). Photos will be judged on overall design. A non-member judge will score each photo which will account for 50% of the overall score. All members will also be able to vote for their favorite (online) and combined scores will account for 50% of the overall score. |

Food Trivia Challenge |
|
| |
All members (each person,not couple) can participate in 4 different multiple choice Food Trivia quiz’s, one per quarter. Quiz’s will be online, and will be time sensitive (to prevent “looking it up” online). Quiz’s will be automatically scored and a running tally for each person kept throughout the year. The winner will be the member with the highest score at the end of the year! |

Recipe Challenge |

| |
Members wishing to participate must create a dish and write a recipe for it. Recipes must be truly original and created from scratch by the member. All recipes must be submitted by (date to be determined). Each recipe will be tested by exactly following the written recipe. This is not just a challenge for the best tasting dish, but for how to write a recipe it is “fool-proof”. The test versions will then be judged by the entire Gourmet Group membership at the end of the year celebration. This challenge is open to regular and alternate members. |
